A report on Tuesday stated that forty-one members of Parliament had rolled into the aisle. The correct figure at the time of publication was thirty-nine. Two further members rolled into the aisle while the edition was being set, and the figure of forty-one was accurate by the time it reached readers, though not when it was written. We regret the imprecision and note that the number has since risen again.

An article last week described the Great Blob Telescope as having detected "nothing." The telescope detected a very small amount of something on one occasion in 2019, which was later determined to be a crumb on the lens. Our report should have said "nothing external to the instrument."

A profile of the Baker of the Year described the runner-up as "gracious in defeat." The runner-up has asked us to record that this characterization is inaccurate.

In a report on municipal ovens we stated that the ovens ran four degrees cool. They ran four degrees cool in winter and six degrees cool in summer, for reasons the Ministry of Works describes as "seasonal and not our department."

We have been asked to clarify that the Ministry of Supply did not say that reserves were "adequate." The ministry said reserves were "adequate at this time," and considers the omission of the final three words to have changed the meaning considerably. We accept this and reprint the phrase in full.
